Very good shooting conditions. Very pleasant
Good shooting day and pleasant owner.
Perfect!
Positive point: - the apartment is very pretty, colorful and well laid out - the view of the Eiffel Tower is a really nice touch! - the cleaning lady and concierge are adorable! - owner available for various visits and accommodating about filming times - We removed some paintings from the wall for image rights, and noticed that they were simply resting on rather fragile nails. The risk of putting them back up was too great, as they could have completely fallen down in the night and broken. The owner was understanding on this point. Hopefully you'll be able to put them back on with stronger hangers :) Negative point: - The apartment is on the top floor and it's impossible to use the main entrance to the building. So you have to go through the service door that leads into the apartment's kitchen, with a really small elevator: so you have to go back and forth to transport your equipment. - We couldn't open the front door ourselves, as we didn't have the key that the cleaning lady kept with her (but who wasn't always with us). We only had access to the kitchen door. This is a problem in the event of problems, especially in the event of fire... perhaps we can find a solution here? - the landlady had warned us that the neighbor might ring the bell, but that it wouldn't be a big problem. In fact, she rang the bell several times, threatening to call the police and preventing us from continuing to turn. I was able to speak with her, and it turned out that she was simply exhausted from all the filming going on in the apartment, despite the fact that the building is very poorly insulated, and that she had already passed on the information to the apartment's landlady on several occasions. I went to see her on the floor below, and indeed she can hear absolutely everything! So I can see how this could be disturbing over the long term. Fortunately, we were able to negotiate to continue our shoot, but it could have been stopped completely at 3pm. We'd have been pretty upset to have paid for a service only to be unable to use it until the agreed time, especially as this is something you knew about and could therefore have foreseen. In my opinion, you should sort things out with your neighbor before you rent out your apartment again. Renters will continually come up against a problem if you don't.
Superb! Great welcome, the place looks just like the photos, thanks Chiara.
Beautiful apartment and Chiara's discreet and respectful welcome. We are delighted, thank you
